Adhaar card based sim activation service will be soon reactivated in j and k region, as few years back the service was withdrawn from j and k region.
According to sources in communication department told that in this month, customers can avail the new sum service just by providing adhaar card at nearest retail or store point. Earlier the valid documents here UT was election card, bank passbook, passport, driving license etc, now Adhaar card is also be a part of valid document for availing a new sim.
