Administration closes schools with immediate effect for 15 days reason covid-19

Leh administration closes schools with immediate effect for 15 days after reporting of fresh COVID-19 cases in schools. Earlier, on September 6 all private and public schools for 6-8 standards were resume in keh district. 

• All (govt/pvt) schools including residential hostels in Leh district shall remain closed for imparting in-person classes with immediate effect for 15 days i.e from 18-09-2021 till 02-10-2021, thereafter, the situation shall be reviewed again. However, online classes shall be encouraged with COVID-19 SOPs
• Chief medical officer, leh and chief education officer, leh ensure that the students who are leaving from the residential schools / hostels for their homes are mandatory screened for RT-PCR test and subsequently undergo home quarantine along with their family members for seven days Irrespective of their results.
