Only fully vaccinated students to be allowed to attend the schools check details here
Whereas, as per records, District Samba has population of 21658 children in the age group of 15 – 17 years;
Whereas, out of 21658 Childrens, we have been able to vaccinate only 14185 Childrens i.e. 65 % of the total;
Whereas, as reported by the Chief Education Officer, Samba, some private schools are not providing complete details of enrolment to his office resulting in delay in 100% achievement of the targets;
Whereas, full vaccination and Covid Appropriate Behaviour are the only precautionary measures available against the Covid pandemic.
Therefore, in view of the above, I. Anuradha Gupta JKAS, District Magistrate and chairperson, District Disaster Management Authority, Samba, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 144 Cr.P.C of 1973 and in accordance with the section 2 of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, do hereby notify for the prior information of all the Principals of Government and Private Education Institutions that whenever the decision about reopening of schools is made, only fully vaccinated children will be allowed to attend in case of students eligible for vaccination. So, it is ordered that Principals of both Government as well as Private Education institutions / Schools of district Samba will ensure that every child (age group 15 to 17 years) in their schools is fully vaccinated.
Further, the lists of such enrolled students along with their date of birth (those born between
14 January 2004 to 31″ December, 2007) and their vaccination status shall be provided by
the Principals of Govt. as well as Private Education Institutions / Schools to the inspection
teams being constituted by the DDMA separately.
