Whereas, there has been recent spike in the Covid cases in district Kargil and recently the World Health Organization has designated the new COVID-19 variant named Omicron as a variant of concern.
THEREFORE, in view of the above and in the interest of public health and safety and in exercise of the powers conferred under section 34 of the National Disaster Management Act, 2005 read with section 144 of CrPC, 1, Santosh Sukhadeve, IAS, in my capacity as the District Magistrate/Chairperson of the District Management Authority, (DDMA) Kargil hereby orderd that :-
