TRAI gave instructions to give recharge validity of 30 days instead of 28 days
New Delhi-The Telecom Authority of India (TRAI) issued “Telecom Tariff (66th Amendment) order, 2022 (1 of 2022).”
The authority has received references from consumers expressing concerns regarding the tariff offers of 28 days validity (or in multiples thereof) by Telecom Services Providers (TSPs), rather than offerings having validity for 30 days or a month. The authority has noted that, nevertheless, TSPs have been transparent in disclosing the validity period of the said tariff as 28 days etc. and have not attempted to market the same as monthly tariffs. At the same time, the authority is conscious of the need to address consumer concerns and perceptions in this regard.

Recharge validity for 30 days must be introduced with sms facility because most of the consumer in India have no need of data those who are not using android or smartphone. The telephone companies are bounding themselves to recharge their phones at higher rates.
Its a must to regulate the Tarif of these comanies.
Instead of providing a good service these companies spending for ads.
Moreover wasting to promote their service by calls, sms
This is a big concern for the users.
